Please stay safe & well during the current crisis. Make sure you have in place contingency plans should you or your family become ill and unable to tend to your animals. There will be difficult times ahead for everyone over the coming months particularly those who lose loved ones and those who have a business that has suffered hardship. We know that with livestock you will all be keeping busy but please do stay positive and look to the future. The lesson to be learnt from the 2001 FMD disaster was that when all the markets, shows, etc. closed down, many farmers felt totally isolated and fell into depression, so do keep an eye out for those around you and keep in touch with each other by phone or email.

The Club received this letter from our Patron HRH Princess Royal 20200325 – Message from HRH The Princess Royal
